5th Amendment

In 2005 the 5th Amendment to the US Constitution suffered a terrible blow with the Supreme Court's decision in Kelo v. The City of New London.

That decision is one of the worst examples of judicial activism. Our founding fathers never intended for the power of eminent domain to be used to increase the tax revenues they could collect. It was only intended for government use.

Laws must be passed to prohibit this type of behavior by government.
